Patricia Holburn is a freelance writer, financial journalist and communications consultant. As the Owner of Stand Out Loud Communications, she consults to a number of institutions, largely in the financial services sector, on writing projects. Patricia’s experience stands her in good stead. She was Editor of Money Marketing for seven years, and managed STANLIB’s Public Relations for eight years before that.

Patricia is passionate about women having an equal voice in society, and taking control of their financial wellbeing.

When not creating magic with words behind her computer, Patricia can be found in her local swimming pool, her favourite way of relaxing and exercising.
