Welcome
to Women in Finance Network
About Us
The Women In Finance Network was established specifically for women in the financial services industry. WiFN is a forum where women meet, share experiences, support, learn from and mentor each other. We organise regional events with expert speakers where you get to interact with peers, role models and mentors – and of course, experience the enthusiasm and fun of our hive!
We are more than members – we are a community! Join our WiFN Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram pages to follow posts by experts sharing snippets on a range of relevant, contentious and often inspirational topics, and access our web-community of women who are always ready to assist and support.
The Network is not affiliated to any particular company – just bring along your own wisdom and uniqueness!

To end off another successful year, we hosted a Business Books and Bubbles event with an incredible group of ladies!
This was our biggest Cape Town event yet - we are so thrilled to see our network grow with professional women in the industry.
A huge thanks to our speakers, Victoria Reuvers, Tamryn Lamb and Sharon Moller, and to our sponsors Old Mutual South Africa, The Financial Planning Institute - SA, Chartered Wealth Solutions and Allan Gray Proprietary Limited.

Message from our Founder, Kim Potgieter
When I entered the financial services industry fifteen years ago, it was a traditionally male-dominated industry which motivated me to establish the Women in Finance Network in 2013.
My goal was to establish a Forum where women planners can meet, share experiences, support, mentor and learn from each other, and create opportunities to meet and interact with peers and role models as mentors and guides. Many of our events today are about learning new skills and having fun while we’re at it!
I am convinced that we can change the industry for the better, and increase our value-add to clients in the process. I believe that we as women have the inherent skills to form meaningful and lasting relationships with clients; we have a wonderful gift to stay authentic and a natural empathy and intuitive approach when connecting with the hearts and minds of our clients.
By joining the WiFN, you will receive invitations to our many events and have access to our online community of women who are always ready to help and support. You can look forward to interesting articles and blogs written by our members, and our Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram pages are always filled with inspiration.
We look forward to welcoming you into our hive!

“I truly believe that we as women can make a difference – we serve and connect with clients in a unique way.”

Keletso Mollo
Keletso Mollo is a young and ambitious woman who believes anything is possible with determination and a positive attitude. Her life philosophy is inspired by the words of Maya Angelou: “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.” Keletso’s name means “a wish that has come true,” and she strives every day to live up to her name by becoming the best version of herself.
Born in Nelspruit Mpumalanga and raised in Gauteng, Keletso grew up in a close-knit family that instilled the values of strength, independence, and hard work. Her grandmother significantly shaped her into becoming the strong, independent Black woman she is today. Keletso’s family continues to be her biggest supporters and motivators, with her mother and siblings being her pillars of strength. Her late father continues to inspire her.
Keletso’s academic journey began at Mayfair Convent Primary School. She attended high school at Holy Family College, where she excelled academically and earned a PPS bursary, among other accolades. Keletso then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and is now completing her Financial Planning Honours degree, which she hopes to use to educate her family and community about the importance of financial planning.
Keletso has many passions, including netball, movies, shopping, and spending time outdoors. She is a firm believer in God and passionate about helping others. Her aspirations drive her daily, and she hopes to make a positive change in her community while finding happiness in everything she does.
Keletso is an eager, fun, innovative, and diligent young woman. She believes that continuous learning and collaboration are the keys to success. With her determination, positive attitude, and unwavering support system, there’s no doubt that Keletso will achieve great things, and we look forward to partnering with her on this journey.
