Julia Christelis is an Associate Director at Accounting Financial Advisory. She served articles at Deloitte South Africa from 20092011. In 2012, she went on a secondment to Deloitte US (New York) and thereafter joined AFA practice within Deloitte South Africa as a Manager. She has 10 years’ experience in accounting advisory and audit across the financial services, technology, media, telecommunications and a variety of other industries.

Julia leads teams who optimize key finance functions with smart processes and technology. She specialises in solutions surrounding financial close, project management, and budgeting and reporting. Her versatility enables her to service a number of high profile clients on a wide variety of issues, including project management, advising on and implementing appropriate systems for financial management and reporting, assisting management with budgeting and forecasting as well as project management.

Julia Christelis is a qualified Chartered Accountant, holds a BCom (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Pretoria and is currently studying BCom Law at the University of South Africa.
