Jo-Anne was admitted as an attorney in the mid-1990’s and went on to specialize in tax law. She then spent over 24 years in the financial services industry, with experience at various asset management businesses including Cadiz, Investec, Prodigy, Coronation and RMB Asset Management.
Before co-founding Ancillary Financial Services, she spent 7 years as Director of Sales for Africa, with Franklin Templeton Investments South Africa (Pty) Ltd. She was responsible for establishing and managing the local Company as well as positioning the Company in Sub-Saharan Africa. She held the position of Director for both the South African and Mauritian Companies and was the key individual for the South African office, reporting to the FSCA. Over this period the business grew its’ assets under management from $500m to $1.5bn and played a pivotal role in the industry representing global asset managers in Africa.
