With a BCom Honours degree in in Financial Management, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, Cherel Swartz is well equipped for her current role at Allan Gray. She fulfils a specialist role in the Strategic Markets team with a direct focus on Investment Education targeting Broad Based Black individuals.

Cherel, as evidenced in her own career journey, believes that education is the means to empower others – and it’s clear that she finds this purpose in her work. She is a part-time MBA student at the University of Stellenbosch. She has spent over 12 years in the Asset Management industry, with ten of those at Allan Gray.
